Because of his performance, he was admitted to the prestigious University of Michigan where he spent 3 years in an intensive residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Dr. Freeman has also been fortunate enough to have been asked to teach both dental and orthodontic students, is also a published author, and has received many academic and professional awards.
Not only is Dr. Freeman a Twice Accomplished Board-Certified Orthodontist, he is also a speaker on the topics of orthodontic technology, multidisciplinary treatment, improving care via teledentistry, as well as children's orthodontics. He is a current member and past President of the Broward Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontics, and past president of the Local Spear Study Club.
